  • I use a 9 X 13 plastic covered dish. Rip both types of lettuce to bite size, combine. Cover bottom of dish with lettuce, about 3 inches deep.
  • Sprinkle half of your diced onion and half of celery over lettuce. Next, lay half of your sliced bananas in single rows covering top. Place a few slices of Kiwi over bananas.
  • Border banana and kiwi with 2 cans of peaches, then border peaches with 2 cans of pears (like a photo frame with the banana and kiwi as your photo).
  • Sprinkle half the bag of cranberries over entire dish. Sprinkle half the bag of almonds on top of that. Now you repeat the entire process starting with another layer of lettuce, then the rest of your onion and celery, then fruit, etc.
  • Pour 3/4 bottle of dressing over entire top layer of salad. Cover tightly and chill for 15 minutes. Serve!


You don't have to be as neat as I am with your layers, but it makes for a great looking dish to do so! A coworker loved it so much she made it for her family at Thanksgiving. She sugar toasted her almonds and also mixed 1/2 cup of Orange Juice with her dressing. I have not tried that, but just another variation you could do.
