  • Combine the lemon gelatin with the boiling water and mix until dissolved. Add this to the cake mix and stir. Then add the eggs and the oil and stir until all are mixed well.
  • Line the bottom of a tube cake pan with a piece of waxed paper that has been cut to size. Then coat with a little oil or nonstick cooking spray. Pour in the cake mix. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the oven. Mix the thawed lemonade with the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Spoon all of this over the hot cake. Let set for a few minutes and then store the cake in the refrigerator until cold. Can even let set overnight. Loosen the edges and the middle with a knife and invert to a serving platter. Serve in slices.

Store the remaining cake in the refrigerator. Covered to retain moisture.
