  • Mix over low heat in a small, shallow pan. Don't bring it to a boil, just simmer slightly.
  • Use as a glaze on baked ham slices, or whole hams, or on pork chops. Just brush it on. I imagine it would do nicely outdoors on a grilled ham as well.

Special Equipment Needed


Feel free to adjust the amounts to your personal taste. Scaling up or down for larger or smaller meals is easy as well. Addition of pineapple slices on the baked ham during the final stage of cooking it wouldn't be a bad idea. Or even peeled and de-seeded tangerene wedges if you want to get fancy. But don't go overboard on the fruit or it'll overwhelm the lime taste in the honey glaze. I doubt anything could overwhelm the bitters. Be careful not to add too much Bitters or all you'll taste is ginger ale.
