  • Wash and peel potatoes. Cut each into approximately 12 slices.
  • Arrange potatoes in single layer on foil lined baking sheet. Spread margarine on each slice and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 30 minutes at 375°F.
  • Then top each slice with desired amount of cheese and bacon pieces. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream and or ranch dipping sauces.


Can be made into – Southwestern: chile oil and red pepper flakes before baking, topped with Mexican blend cheese and cooked fajita style chicken or steak, served with guacamole or salsa. Italian: olive oil and oregano before baking, topped with Italian blend cheese and cooked Italian sausage, served with marinara sauce. Mediterranean: olive oil and rosemary before baking, topped with goat cheese and diced black olives, served with hummus.
