  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Melt butter over low heat, and stir in flour to form a smooth paste. Add milk a little at a time, slowly so the paste will not lump, stirring constantly. Add salt, pepper. Cook until thick.
  • Place drained noodles in a greased casserole dish. Mix in sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter.
  • Bake 350 degrees 25-30 minutes.

Excellent. It's an old recipe, but this one has a creamy, buttery, cheese flavor. I usually double the recipe, and I am always asked for the recipe whenever I make it or take it to a function.
