  • Brown meat with onion. Drain off grease. Add chili powder, salt, garlic powder, mayonnaise and sour cream to meat and onion. Mix together well.
  • Press crescent rolls into ungreased pie pan. Pour meat mixture into pie pan. Top with salsa, then tomato slices, then cheese. Cover edges of pan with foil to prevent overcooking.
  • Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes. Slice and serve!

Special Equipment Needed


This was one of my favorite recipes growing up. You can leave out the onions and/or tomato slices if you wish. If you want more tomato, try adding diced tomatoes to the meat mixture. Also, I hardly ever use the full amount of mayonnaise or sour cream. Instead I just eyeball it until it's the consistency I like. This also makes easy leftovers!
