  • Saute/brown the pork chops in a skillet for a couple minutes on each side. The goal is to brown them up nicely and get the cooking started before simmering in the sauce.
  • Once the sides are nicely browned, add a container of mango peach salsa. Simmer the pork chops and salsa until cooked thoroughly.
  • When the chops are almost done, cook your rice according to packages and place in a nice bowl or platter. Slice up the pork chops and layer over the rice, then pour the mango peach salsa over the top.


This was just something I thought of making to use pork chops that was different! I would love to hear suggestions on how to add to it or what some other creative ways to improve it would be. My family loved it!! I served with a toss salad for a complete meal, but was trying to think of other items that would go well with the mango peach salsa. I can't remember the brand of salsa I used, but you can find various versions at stores. I would maybe use 2 containers of the salsa if you like your foods more saucy like my family does, but it's not really needed.
