  • Preheat oven to 350. Beat 1/2 cup butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in 3 tablespons maple syrup. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add gradually to butter mixture. On low speed, beat in oatmeal and 1 cup pecans.
  • Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes until set and light brown. Do not overbake. Cool on wire racks.
  • Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in 2 tablespoons maple syrup. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth and spreadable. Spread frosting over cooled cookies. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans.

Special Equipment Needed


Using a cookie scoop to place dough on cookie sheets will result in nice round cookies.
