  • Mix all ingredients (except sauce) together in a large bowl, mixing well to thoroughly combine.
  • Roll into 1 1/2" balls. Arrange in a single layer on a sheet of heavy duty foil; top with 1/2 cup sauce and form a packet.
  • Grill over high heat, 20 minutes. Turn packet over halfway through cooking time.

Special Equipment Needed


These are very good. I doubled the batch & grilled them in two foil packets. On one I put BBQ sauce & on the other I put plain tomato sauce. We ate the BBQ ones as an entree by itself. The others were divided into two more meals-spaghetti & meatballs and meatball sandwiches. These could be easily frozen.
