  • Make sure your meat is soft enough to mix by hand and you have a XL bowl to mix in.
  • Finely chop your onion and pepper, however you will only need maybe 3/4 of each. Add your eggs first then just a small amount of cut onion and pepper next add 1/2 cup of oats then just 1/4 cup of ketchup.
  • Mix them all together by hand, so you will be able to tell if it feels too wet. If its to wet add a few spoonfuls of oats and mix again.
  • After you have it mixed, scoop a handful out and make a ball as big as a tennis ball. Lay the ball in an ungreased pan and mash like you would to make a hamburger, just not as flat. Repeat until you have used all the mixture.
  • Last coat every patty with a tsp. of ketchup and smooth out as if you were icing a cake. Bake @ 400 for 1 hour or until done.
