  • Heat oven to 375F. Lightly spay cookie sheet with cooking spray. In 10 inch skillet,cook ground beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until throughly cooked; drain.
  • Stir in taco seasoning mix, water and 1/2 cup of the salsa. Cook 2 to 4 minutes,stirring occasionally, until mixture has thickened.
  • Seperate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each into 6-inch round. Spoon about 3/4 cup beef mixture onto center of each round. Top with 1 tablespoon of the cheese. Fold dough over filling; press edges firmly with fork to seal. Place on cookie sheet.
  • Bake 9 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. To serve, top each sandwich with 1 heaping tablespoon remaining salsa and 1 tablespoon remaining cheese. Serve with sour cream.

Notes

Crisp green salad of romaine lettuce topped with fresh orange slices and drizzled with dressing.
