  • Combine filling ingredients in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, measure dry ingredients for pastry, blend well. With a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly and even-textured. Toss in sour cream with a fork, mixing just until blended. Do not over stir.
  • Gather dough into a ball and roll out on a floured surface. Using a round cookie cutter, about 2 1/2 - 3", cut into circles. Spoon in a heaping tsp. of filling into the center of each round and fold in half, moistening edges to seal. Crimp edges lightly with the tines of a fork and prick tops to allow steam to escape.
  • Place on a cookie sheet and freeze in a single layer. When thoroughly froze transfer pastries to a plastic bag and return to freezer.
  • Before ready to eat: DO NOT THAW. Simply bake frozen pastries on ungreased baking sheet at 375°F for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
