  • Crust: Blend butter and cream cheese. Stir in flour. Roll into one inch balls. Press into miniature muffin tins. Covering bottom and sides. Chill for about 10 minutes
  • Filling: Beat sugar, egg, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Pour in pecans and stir. Fill crust in muffin pans about 2/3 full.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F about 30 minutes.


I use a wood presser just for the small pans. It spreads it all over pans just right, Or you can use your hands. This is a great appetizer, or finger food. Everyone loves it. I usually have to double the recipe.

    Easy and can be made ahead of time. Goes over very well. The small bites can satisfy withoug getting the whole slice of pie. A calorie saver???
