  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add eggs, shortening, and sugar to a blender. Blend until creamy. Add bananas one at a time to blender, blending after each addition. In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking soda. Pour the wet mixture from the blender into the flour mixture, stir.
  • Grease a 9x9 pan and pour in batter.
  • Bake for 40 minutes. Let bread cool before cutting.

Notes

My mom always removes the loaf from the pan, cuts the loaf in half, and then cuts each have into slices.
