  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In 1st bowl: mix chicken, soup, sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, onion, and 1 1/2 cups of cheese. In 2nd bowl: mix rice, frozen broccoli, and 1 cup of cheese.
  • In a large baking dish, press in rice mixture to cover bottom. Pour chicken mixture over and spread out to even thickness. Cover with remaining cheese. Cover baking dish with foil.
  • Bake 45 minutes, removing foil for last 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes to set up.


This was a family favorite that our mother made and my sisters and I all make from memory. We never knew the origin of this recipe, but that it always brings the family together. I hope another family gets the same enjoyment from it.
