  • 1. Cut cheese into 4-6 small "sticks". (You need one stick for each chicken breast you are preparing.)
  • 2. Lay chicken breasts out flat on a large plate or cutting board and roll each cheese stick up inside a chicken breast.
  • 3. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each rolled up chicken breast to hold it together.
  • 4. Place rolled up chicken breasts in a glass baking dish.
  • 5. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup together.
  • 6. Pour sour cream/soup mixture over chicken breasts.
  • 7. Cover with foil & bake at 375 for 45-60 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • 8. Serve over rice.


This recipe is very kid-friendly. My brothers and I loved it growing up. This is also a great recipe for those watching their fat or sodium intake. It tastes just as great with lower sodium or turkey bacon, fat free sour cream, 98% fat free soup, and Kraft's 2% cheddar cheese.
