  • Soften butter (for best results soften naturally by leaving on the counter!) Beat eggs and almond together at this time in separate mixing bowl.
  • Mix ingredients in large mixing bowl by hand as follows:
  • Add butter
  • Mix sugar in with butter
  • Add almond/egg mix to large mixing bowl to stir in with butter/sugar combination
  • Add baking powder
  • Add flour - adding 1 1/4 cup each round of mixing to slowly and fully mix flour into batter. Do not over mix or you will have an issue with dough hardening.
  • Cover and place in refrigerator until dough is hardened.
  • To bake: Cover desired counter space with light dusting of flour. Remove several cups of dough onto flour and roll-out until desired thickness is reached. Cut-out with desired shapes.
  • Bake in oven for 10 - 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from cookie tray, cool, and frost!

Special Equipment Needed


Be careful not to use too much flour when rolling out dough! Be careful not to overcook - if edges are turning brown you have overcooked! To keep extra soft, add bread to container for storage!
