  • Combine pumpkin, oil and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients, except the walnuts. Combine the two mixtures, mixing thoroughly (do not use an electric mixer). Fold in the walnuts.
  • Pour into 2 greased 9x5x 3-inch loaf pans.
  • Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour.

Special Equipment Needed


Serve with cream cheese.

Love this bread!I did make a few changes tho.I used 1 cup applesauce instead of oil to make it a little healthier!I also did pecans instead of walnuts since that was what I had on hand.Then since I happened to be out of allspice right now I subsituted with a dash of ground cloves and a dash of ginger.Great flavor an real nice an moist!
