  • In skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 5 -8 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Meanwhile, separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles; place in a greased 9-inch pie plate with points toward the center. Press onto bottom and sides of pie plate, sealing perforations to form a crust.
  • Crush enough nacho chips in your hands to just cover the crust. Pour meat mixture into crust, top with sour cream and then the shredded cheese. Crush some more nacho chips and put a light sprinkling over the shredded cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F about 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust golden. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.


Ground chicken and fat free sour cream work just as well for a calorie-reduced version.
