  • Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg, vinegar, water, and shortening, mixing well.
  • Separate pie dough into three balls. Dough will make 3 8" pie shells. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Notes

I've never been able to make a pie crust until I tried this recipe. My neighbor gave me this recipe and I almost didn't try it because I thought the vinegar sounded bad. You can't taste the vinegar, it just makes the pie crust fluffy.
