  • Get a nice big serving bowl. Layer the bottom with some of the vanilla wafers. On top, put the vanilla pudding, not too thick.
  • Next put the bananas, dribble some of the lemon juice on the fruit, then, the Cool Whip, more wafers, and just keep on laying it over until you run out of ingredients.
  • Make sure that your top layer is Cool Whip and sprinkle your chocolate chips on top. Put it in the fridge for an hour or even up to the next day. Good stuff, no bake, nice and cool.

I like to make sure that the lemon juice can be tasted, it really is good with the bananas and keeps them from browning. My mom made this when I was a kid and I always loved it. The wafers get soft and puddingish, it's a perfect balance.
