  • Sprinkle rice in a 9x13-inch casserole. Mix butter and milk in small bowl; pour over rice.
  • Mix mushroom and celery soups together. Pour over rice. Arrange pork chops on top. Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  • Bake, tightly covered, at 325 degrees F for 2 1/2 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Confession: I normally try a recipe as written then make changes. Except for this one. My pork chops were very thick boneless center cuts I bought on sale. Sooo I chose to season them with salt and pepper and brown them first in a cast iron skillet and removed the chops to a plate to cool. I added a little water to the cooling skillet. After my chops cooled I then followed the recipe. After adding the onion soup mix on top of the chops, I poured the skillet "sauce" on top covered it with foil and put the whole thing in the fridge. 30 minutes before baking I took it out and baked it for 1 hour and 30 minutes pork chops were juicy and delicious. Hubby and sons ate it ALL!!!
