  • Place real white rice into a pot with 2 cups of water, boil it down, stir often as to not to burn rice.
  • Add butter, sugar, eggs (beat eggs first before placing into pot, if not the egg will have a tendency to cook), vanilla, carnation evaporated milk, after evaporated milk can is empty fill with water and add that also. Mix all together.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon sugar on top. Put into oven, temperature at 350 degrees, bake for 45 minutes. Place into fridge to cool or if you are like me, eat some warm. Yum, Yum.


After baking for 45 minutes you may want to place on broil for a couple of minutes (3 or 4). This will enable you to have somewhat of a crust on top. Your preference.
