This is old recipe that came from my Grandmother and she used the old fashioned crank, meat grinder before they invented the food processors. We would sit a bowl in a chair under the grinder to catch all of the juice to add back into the mixture. I always make this up a few days before Thanksgiving and divide it in half - one dish for Thanksgiving and other for Christmas.
