Toasting Sesame Seeds:
To toast sesame seeds, place them in a dry skillet over medium heat. Stir occasionally for a few minutes until they just begin to turn golden. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Remove from the heat and cool.
To toast almonds, spread them in a single layer in a baking pan. Bake at 350° F for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted stirring occasionally.
Loved this one to take to a neighborhood dinner. It's convient to have the ingredients on hand. Just have to remember to buy the fresh cole slaw pkg. After sharing with neighbors, I had to go home and copy the recipe for the girls. I put in the noodles & dressing just before serving. Delicious.
