  • 1. Fry paneer in ghee until it becomes golden brown and dip the paneer cubes in hot water immediately so that they will be soft.
  • 2. Fry onions in oil till golden brown and add the chili powder, garam masala and ginger garlic paste.
  • 3. Put the dhaniya powder in the gravy.
  • 4. Now add the tomato puree to the gravy and allow it to boil.
  • 5. Now add the paneer cubes to the masala, and allow it to boil for 10-15 more minutes. Keep the gas on medium heat.
  • 6. After you switch the gas, decorate with coriander leaves and with fresh cream. Don’t add cream when it is hot, becuase it would split.


It's a North Indian dish. You can serve hot with rice or Indian breads (Rothi's). Happy cooking :-)
