  • In a large bowl, place all the ground beef, then starting with the eggs, knead in each ingredient with your hands until mixed completely.
  • Take enough meat and roll up to the size of a walnut until you've rolled all the meat into meatballs. Place in a large frying pan on medium-high heat until all are browned. Drain, then let sit while you prepare the sauce.
  • In a large crock-pot, pour all the ingredients for sauce and mix well. Place crock-pot on High heat, and then drop in the meatballs, stirring thoroughly. Cover and let cook on high heat for at least 2-3 hours, or low heat for 4-6 hours.


If you don't want to use ground beef, ground turkey is a good substitute. This has been an ongoing family holiday tradition and recipe in our home. I do hope you'll love them as we do and make it yours as well.
