  • 1. Fry the chopped onion in the olive oil.
  • 2. Add the peas.
  • 3. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  • 4. When it comes to a boil, drop hamburger in.
  • 5. Grate celery, garlic and carrot; add to sauce.
  • 6. Chop real fine parsley and basil; add to sauce.
  • 7 Add sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • 8. Let cook on med heat for about an hour with the lid half on half off.
  • 9. Cook pasta half done, drain well. Mix enough sauce in it just to make red.
  • 10. Butter a baking dish, and add a little sauce to bottom of pan.
  • 11. Pour half of the pasta in dish.
  • 12. Put a layer of ham, sliced hard boiled eggs, layer of sliced cheese, layer of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • 13. Add more sauce to cover pasta.
  • 14. Add rest of pasta.
  • 15. Add sauce to top to make red.
  • 16. Add rest of the mozzarella and parmesan.
  • 17. Beat 2 eggs with a pinch of salt, and pour over the top.
  • 18. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 1 hour uncovered. Let cool a little and serve.

If using gas oven, 45 minutes in oven.
