  • Start boiling water for pasta. At boil, add sea salt, olive oil, and pasta. Cook 10-15 minutes for al dente. Cook sausage according to pkg. instructions for skillet preparation. When browned, cut into coin sized pieces. Set aside.
  • Saute garlic and red jalapeno pepper in tablespoon of olive oil for 30 seconds. Add red pepper and onions, cook until crisp tender. Add sausage, basil, sea salt to taste and pasta sauce. Allow to simmer until flavors mingle, about 15 minutes.
  • Add pasta to sauce, stir, garnish with fresh Italian parsley. Serve with parmesan cheese and fresh garlic bread.
