  • Wash and dry strawberries, leaving the tops on.
  • In a double boiler, melt the almond bark. When melted, separate the melted bark into two bowls. Dip the strawberries into the melted almond bark from one of the bowls, leaving some of the red strawberry showing on the top. Let them set on wax paper until bark is hardened (3-5 minutes).
  • In the second bowl, color the almond bark using the blue food coloring. Dip the strawberries into the blue colored bark, leaving some of the white showing. They should be red, white & blue. Let them set, or put into the fridge until serving time.

Notes

If your bark starts to harden, put into microwave for 20 second to remelt. This is a great snack, even in the sun, since the bark doesn't melt as easily as chocolate. Great for a July 4th get-together! Travels easily.

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used a bigger bowl than i should have. I used a bigger bowl than i should have. The layers looked tiny. But other than that it was wonderful! It's a great dessert to make for people who are dessert-handicapped, such as myself.
