  • Spray bottom & sides of your glass baking dish. Pour your large can of peaches in the bottom (juice and all).
  • On top of that, spread a box of dry Jell-O over that. Then sprinkle a box of dry cake mix over top of that. Slice a stick of margarine over the entire dry cake mix. Pour the 1 & 1/2 cups of water gently over the cake mix.
  • Put in 350°F oven and bake for approximately 1 hour. Check it and if it is still not done in the middle, let cook a little longer depending on hot your oven gets (mine usually takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes). Sometimes, at an hour, when I check mine, some of the cake mix has not gotten moistened & I will take a spoon & push it on down in the liquid so that it will cook more.

Special Equipment Needed

This taste just like an old time cobbler like your mother or grandmother used to make. You can change from peach to other fruit, you just have to have the type Jell-O that you have fruit for -- BUT DO NOT USE the thick pie filling type fruit, you need that juice. Thank you & please try this on.
