  • Prepare curst and press into bottom & sides of rectangular cake pan.
  • Beat eggs, sugar, spices & flavoring together. Arrange peach slices on the crust. Pour egg mixture over peaches. Lift slices slightly to allow some custard to seep underneath them.
  • Place in 375°F oven for 1 hour. Check to see if the custard is set by inserting a knife in the center. If it comes out clean, the custard is ready. Serve warm or cold, plain (best!), or with a warm sauce or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Fresh peaches are in season! This recipe is a new one my children & I created just for this summer's peach crop. Served hot for breakfast or cold for dessert, this is a heart warmer for sure and will bring memories of happy times spent in the kitchen together.
