  • Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in 3 quart heavy saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for about 4 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  • Remove from heat. Add peanut butter chips and marshmallow creme; stir until melted. Add peanuts and vanilla; mix well.
  • Pour immediately into buttered 9-inch square pan; spread to evenly cover bottom of pan. Cool at room temperature at least 4 hours; cut into about 1-inch squares. Wrap each piece in foil and store in air tight container at room temperature.


After trying many peanut butter fudge recipes and all of them failing. I decided to adjust the Fantasy Fudge recipe on the jar of Jet-Puff Marshmallow Creme by adding peanut butter chips instead of semi-sweet chips. This has been a no fail recipe since I started making it; I make approximately four batches a month.
