  • 1) Put margarine, peanut butter, 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, and egg into a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium until creamy.
  • 2) Mix in flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Cover and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • 3) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 4) Put the 3 Tbsp. of sugar in a plastic bag.
  • 5) Shape the dough into balls about the size of a walnut shell. Shake 3 balls at a time in the plastic bag. Place cookies 2-inches apart on the cookie sheet.
  • 6) Bake 8 minutes. Put chocolate kisses in the center of each cookie and press down gently. Continue baking 2-4 minutes, or until chocolate has melted down a little.
  • 7) Remove cookies and cool on cooling rack.
