  • Put the roast, au jus gravy mix, water, pepperoncinis, pepperoncinis juice, onions, green peppers, and Italian dressing, in the crock-pot.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Make sure the roast is covered with water, the more water the more juice for dipping the sandwich in later.

This meal is perfect for moms on the go. All of my kids eat it which is a chore in itself. I do this before I go to work -- when I come home dinner is served. Just put the meat on the sandwiches, cover with cheese, you can put them in the broiler for a few minutes to melt the cheese for an added flavor. Serve with an Italian pasta salad or chips. If you make extra it freezes well and you can have an instant dinner later as well!
