Peggy's Rhubarb Jell-O Dessert

  • Mix 2 cups of flour, salt, baking powder, 2 Tbsp. white sugar, 1/2 cup butter, egg, and milk. Spread crust in 9 x 13 inch baking dish or pan, keeping 1/2 cup for topping.
  • Spread finely cut rhubarb over top. Then add the reserved 1/2 cup crust. Sprinkle with red Jell-O on top. Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, 6 Tbsp. flour and 4-6 Tbsp. butter and drop by spoonfuls all over the top.
  • Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.


This looks BEAUTIFUL...smells GREAT...tastes WONDERFUL! Even if you don't like will love this. It disappears fast! I have taken this dish to potlucks, barbeques, picnics...and have had even men approaching me for the recipe...they loved it!!
