  • Mix together in mixer condensed milk, peppermint extract, and powdered sugar.
  • Turn mixture on slightly sugared surface. Knead a little until smooth. Roll into balls. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Take the bottom of a glass and smash the balls flat. Let dry 1 hour. Turn the patties over and let dry 1 hour.
  • Melt chocolate and dip patties in it. Place back on cookie sheet and place in fridge to cool.

Notes

You can add more peppermint if you like a stronger taste. You can make the patties as big as you want. I like to make bite sized patties, so I roll smaller balls. You can also use dark chocolate if you prefer. The only reason these take so long is the drying period for the patties. These are easy to make and clean house at the same time because of the wait time.
