  • Sautee diced onions in olive oil (or Kraft Salad dressing) till transparent; add ground cumin, ginger, pickling spice & chopped cabbage. Stir well.
  • Let cook in its own water for about 1/2 hour.
  • Add can of hopping johns. Cook till desired tenderness.

Notes

This dish can also be made without the can of beans. Instead of olive oil, cook the onion in 1 Tbsp. of Kraft Italian Roasted Red Pepper with Parmesan.
