  • Crush your pretzels (I put them in a Ziploc bag and use a rolling pin and just roll into small crumbs). Put your oven on 400°F. Put your butter in a 13x9 glass or tin pan, place in oven, and let melt (watch it as burns easily). Once melted, take your pretzels and put into the butter and sprinkle 3 Tbsp. of sugar and stir around lightly. Use wax paper to press the pretzels down evenly onto the pan. Bake at 400°F for approx. 8 minutes -- check it at 6 minutes. Let it cool a few minutes and then put into freezer until bottom of pan is very cold (but not frozen).
  • Use a mixer and mix 1 package of cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar. Then add Cool Whip and blend together. In a separate bowl dissolve your Jell-O into 2 cups of very hot water. Mix quickly and immediately add your frozen strawberries into Jell-O mixture. Let that sit.
  • Put the cream cheese mixture on top of your pretzels. Then pour your Jell-O mixture onto the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. I usually make it the night before.


This is very good and everyone likes it. Yummy.
