SO Yummy!! I have never made whoopie pies before and this recipe was very simple, perfect for a beginner. It is a little time consuming but very worth it! Using a small ice scroop helps so much. Didn't use ginger at all because I don't like it. So moist and cream is so delicious, perfect for the fall and holidays!
These were delicious! I saw Whoopie Pies in a magazine and wanted to try them without spending a fortune, and I'm so glad I found this recipe! I used the pumpkin pie mix (in a can) instead of pure pumpkin and used lots of cloves and nutmeg since I didn't have the pumpkin pie spice. Mine came out HUGE so I'll have to change that next time and my frosting wasn't quite fluffy enough, so I'll experiment with that more later. These are so delicious and moist, really hit the spot for yummy pumpkin and cream cheese treat!
