  • Whisk together dip mix, milk, and sour cream. Let stand until it starts to thickened. Place chicken in oblong pan. Pour dip mixture over all, turning to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate 1-2 hours, or overnight, in refrigerator.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove chicken strips from marinade. Generously coat with cornflake crumbs. Sprinkle with garlic, pepper and seasoned salt. Place in lightly oiled pan. Melt butter, and drizzle over chicken strips.
  • Bake about 35 minutes, or until crispy.

Notes

You might want to try Ranch Fiesta Dip Mix, if your family likes a little spice - serve with salsa for dipping. OR sprinkle with Creole seasoning instead of the garlic, salt and pepper. This recipe won first place and $100 in the County Fair held in Chesterfield, MO, in September 1992.
