  • Cook the noodles in a pot of water until done.
  • In a different pot cook the can of tomato sauce with about 2 1/2 lb. of the cheese. Once melted add the sauce into the drained noodles.
  • Then if you would like you can add the rest of the cheese on top of the red noodles and bake in the oven until a crispy light brown on top Or let me tell you with out the cheese on top the red cheese is wonderful.

I didn't know it was a family thing I just thought my mom made it. I tell people about it and you can't understand until you eat it. Add salt and pepper to taste. The noodles always need a little salt added. Pepper is great on the cottage cheese.
