  • Stir 2 cups of the boiling water into each dry gelatin mix in separate medium bowls for 2 min. or until completely dissolved. Stir 1 cup cold water into each gelatin bowl mixture. Refrigerate cherry gelatin for 1 ½ hours or until thickened. Pour blue gelatin into trifle bowl. Refrigerate blue gelatin for 30 min or until set but not firm (gelatin should stick to finger when touched).
  • When blue gelatin is set, prepare the pudding mixture. Pour 2 cups cold milk in a medium bowl. Add 1 pkg. (4-servings) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling. Beat with wire whisk for 1 minute until well blended. Spread onto set blue gelatin. Refrigerate for 5 min.
  • Meanwhile, add quartered cherries to thickened cherry gelatin. Stir. Spoon over pudding mixture.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Top with whipped topping, garnish with red, white & blue sprinkles (optional) and whole cherries before serving.


I happened to have a lot of Bing cherries so I decided to make use of it and prepared this dessert on Memorial Day. I made 2 bowls and gave one to our neighbor friend. She was so impressed. What's more, my husband and little son loved it.
