  • Bring water to a boil. Add uncooked rice and let stand for 5 minutes. Add chopped cilantro and squeeze juice from one lime to rice and mix.
  • Heat black beans over medium heat. Add garlic salt and cominoes to black beans and mix.
  • Mash avocadoes and add juice from one lime.
  • In individual bowls or plates:
  • Layer rice, beans, avocado, sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, and cheese. Enjoy!

Notes

Shredded beef or chicken may also be added for a tasty variation to this recipe.
