  • Heat vegetable oil (about 1/2 inch) in a large, nonstick skillet. Drain salmon, reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid. Add baking powder to liquid from salmon.
  • Combine all ingredients (salmon, reserved liquid mixture, eggs, minced onion, flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper) in large bowl.
  • Shape into patties and fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.

Notes

I recommend serving this with augrautin potatoes and asparagus and/or English peas. My entire family loves this meal!
