  • Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and salt and pepper. Form mixture into 6 patties. Fry in skillet for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and no longer pink in center. Remove patties from pan. Drain fat.
  • In same saucepan, mix soups and can of water. Heat mixture to boil, reduce heat to med, stirring until dry soup is dissolved. Mix 2 Tbsp. water and cornstarch together until smooth. Gradually add to soup mixture, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
  • Return beef patties to pan and heat through. Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles.

    This is EXTREMELY salty!!! It wasn't the worst thing I have ever tasted, but it wasn't very good either. We ate it. My 4 year old was the only one who asked for more (she eats salt out of the shaker if I don't have it hid).

    Instead of frying the patties in the pan, I put them on the grill until they were medium. Then finished cooking them in the gravy. Delicious!!
