  • Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in bottom of 9x12 baking dish, add ham. Add sliced potatos. Top with grated cheese.
  • Mix chopped onions, flour, salt, pepper, soup, and 2 cups milk in bowl. Pour mix over potatoes. Slice remaining butter and place on top of potatoes. Sprinkle paprika on top. Add more milk if it does not cover potatoes. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover the last half hour.

Special Equipment Needed


If you don't have a honey cured ham slice, you can cook a ham slice in a small amount of butter and brown sugar, just until coated before placing in baking dish.
