  • Beat the eggs well and add sugar, salt, flour and the milk. Then add the melted butter and blend all together well. Batter will be thin and slightly lumpy.
  • On a greased griddle or crepe pan, pour about 2 tablespoons of the batter and make tiny, thin pancakes. There is no need to flip pancakes because it will cook through due to the thinness.
  • Then roll up and serve with powdered sugar, syrup or fresh fruit.


My great-grandmother obtained this hand-written recipe from a Swedish neighbor at the turn of the century. It has since been in my family, and everyone always looks forward to this special brunch treat!
