  • Allow uncooked sausage to obtain room temperature. Boil eggs, peel and refrigerate until very cold.
  • Take each cold egg and cover completely with a layer of sausage.
  • Prepare oil for deep frying, test by dropping a spec of flour in hot oil. If it dances, begin to lightly roll each sausage egg in flour and carefully immerse into hot oil. Deep fry until browned. Remove and place on a rack or paper towel. Serve with a colorful garnish of your choice.

Notes

If deep frying is not an option, you may oven bake by using a oven breading recipe mix. If so, bake on an lightly oiled baking sheet at 450 degrees F until browned. Rotate as needed.
