  • In a 6-quart saucepot, cook the Ragu Pasta Sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  • Season the chicken, if desired, with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the sauce. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Remove the saucepot from the heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the sauce. Using two forks, shred the chicken. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce and heat through. To serve, arrange the chicken mixture on the rolls and garnish, if desired, with shredded cheddar cheese.
